DRZ fluorescent screen

Flat panel systems have recently received much attention in the field of radiography due to their unique performance characteristics. This technology is classified into two distinct types; direct conversion and indirect conversion.
Direct conversion utilizes a selenium photo-conductor. Indirect conversion utilizes a CsI:Tl or Gd2O2S:Tb scintillator in conjunction with a silicon TFT.
Each system has certain advantages that should be considered. Indirect systems using Gd2O2S:Tb have the advantage of heightened stability, improved safety, lower cost and minimized environmental impact.

Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation is pleased to introduce our optimized series of Gd2O2S:Tb fluorescent screens for indirect digital radiography.

DRZ-Std : Highest resolution composed of a double layer structure
DRZ-Plus : A valance of high brightness and resolution with a double layer structure
DRZ-High : Superior Brightness
Comparative performance data of these DRZ screens is shown in figure 1.

Digital radiography systems utilizing Gd2O2S:Tb fluorescent screens have a wide variety of uses.
In addition to Flat Panel Detector systems, these screens can be used in the following applications.
1) High Image Quality demand applications : for example FPD area sensors matched with screens.
2) Foods and baggage inspection : line sensors coupled with "slit" type screens.
3) Real-time viewing applications : screens coupled with CCD cameras.
We believe our DRZ digital imaging screens can provide the solution to your unique imaging needs.
Please contact us with any special medical or industrial imaging requirements you may have.
We would be happy to discuss them with you at your convenience.
